Like Pat said - feel free to say yes even if you will attend only if we get 5/6 drivers and wont attend if its more expensive than that. Btw Jon - where does the 152 per driver figure come from (max 5 or 6 drivers?)

So if you join the East Coast Karting Endurance Races meetup group, the cost of a team is reduced to $760 from $800. For the LVGP event, there is a min of 3 drivers and a max of 6. The $152 was pulled from their site which listed $760/5 drivers, but in reality the cost could be as low as $127 for a 6 driver team that all joined the meetup group.

I think the biggest challenge is that it is on a Sunday... 12 hr race means that it ends around 7PM and it is a 5-6 hr drive back to Boston. Might have to look into a room for both Sat. and Sun. night. It's a stretch, but I think a 12 hr race would be pretty awesome! I figured I'd gauge interest and we can always work out the logistics if there were enough people potentially willing.

I'm definitely interested in doing this, but what about the logistics if you don't have a car to get down there and such? Also, is there any skill requirement other than having previously raced these?

We'll probably be carpooling. If you have raced enduros before you should be okay. As for lap times if you run in the 19 seconds on track 1 and 15 seconds on track 2 at f1 boston, you'll be fine.

Guys - I spoke with the owner of LVGP and they have offered to let any Wheel to Wheel Karting members sleep at the track on Saturday night to help lower the cost. We already have a number of people doing that so bring an air mattress and then you will not have lodging costs on Saturday.
